Attaining Goals through Personal Fitness Training
Monday, May 31st, 2010It takes the body, mind, and spirit to fully attain any goal with a real sense of accomplishment.
What is your reason for being alive ? Is it focused on “getting a lot of stuff done ” before you die?
Let’s explore the first part of the three , namely the body, health and personal fitness. You may want to share this information with your personal fitness trainer.
The body is built for survival – from staying alive to procreation. It is an amazing machine, brilliantly built for this purpose. Every single muscle, bone, brain cell is arranged for survival. Moreover, the body is hard-wired for specific movements, chemical reactions and processes designed primarily for survival.
Bio-chemically, trillions of actions and reactions occur every second in your body. Every one is dependent on hydraulics (require water). Billions of neurons in the brain respond to input, physical, mental and spiritual or energetic, if you prefer. Your body responds to thoughts as well.
Most of this happens without your even thinking about it.
Muscles and bones are necessary to keep you moving. Unfortunately, with today’s lifestyles, we no longer move them in the way they were designed, The result is physical deterioration, including pain in the joints, back, neck, muscles and so on. Personal fitness training can help.
Before man had furniture, we had to squat to go to the bathroom, to give birth, and sew seeds, we had to chase animals, climb trees, carry water and chop wood.
Today, thanks to technology, this is all being done for us. But with all the sitting and forward movement, the spine becomes flexed forward and our natural systems are atrophied. Some people try to solve this by going to a chiropractor every few days, which is a little like trying to solve your weight problem by having your stomach pumped on a regular basis. It’s a fix, but it’s not natural. The natural cure for your weight problem is to eat consciously (not necessarily less) and to get proper personal fitness training. For your body mechanics, to be pain-free and strong, you need to move your body. This includes exercise (your personal trainer can show you how), proper posture (again, you can get help from your personal trainer) and other ways of moving.
