How would you say 21st century medical technology has improved?

Im writing a essay for english in school. I know nothing about what ive been asked to write about.

I need to know how 21st century medical technology has improved.

Any help you have please give. ThankYou

well, what about the drugs/medicines that we use I guess there is a wider range than there used to be and they are more effective
surgical techniques such as keyhole surgery speeds up recovery time
plastic surgery or cosmetic surgery techniques now provides doctors with more tools than before to rebuild people.
that’s just for starters ….

    in past time people used to die even if they had common cold or stomach ache.. because they didnt had any medicines but in 21st century those diseases are nothing… and they have these surgery machines and even cure for cancer which was impossible in past time…
